“Every agent of a foreign principal who has filed a registration statement required by subsection (a) of this section shall, within thirty days after the expiration of each period of six months succeeding such filing, file with the Attorney General a supplement thereto under oath, on a form prescribed by the Attorney General”

28 CFR 5.203(b) (official text):

“The obligation to file a supplemental statement at 6-month intervals during the agency relationship shall continue even though the registrant has not engaged during the period in any activity in the interests of his foreign principal.”

28 CFR 5.203(c) (official text):

“The time within which to file a supplemental statement may be extended for sufficient cause shown in a written application to the Assistant Attorney General.”
